Hey everyone, for this week's youth event we'll be attending a conference event called Posture Shift, and event that's designed to teach and approach the topic of LGBT+ people in the church. I've posted below the description of the Friday night event from the Posture Shift organization.

Location: Orchard Campus (434 Hunter rd)

Time: Posture Shift Brief 7-9, Youth group debrief 9-10

Posture Shift Brief is a biblically sound, missiological training designed for church leaders, ministry teams, counselors, camp and school administrators and teachers, lay leaders, and family members. During Posture Shift Brief on March 25, we will cover:

- Establishing a Biblical Foundation and a Missional Framework

- Best Practice Missiology: God Wants to Reach Every People Group

- Understanding LGBT+ People: History, Culture and Language

- 10 Ways to Authentically Relate to and Care for LGBT+ People

- Plus: one hour of open dialogue to ask your questions

The event will be from 7 - 9 at Orchard Campus, but we'll plan on heading to the kids wing after the event as a youth group to have a group discussion and then hang out until 10!
